Prerequisites
Must be an RN with a current, unrestricted nursing license for verification.
LPNs and paramedics are welcome to attend all course portions except the written and psychomotor evaluations. While they won't receive verification, they will earn contact hours.

This program is mainly for RNs. If you're an RN working in the ER or want to work in the ER, this program is a MUST! Not all ERs have a separate pediatric ED; therefore, this course will bring your much knowledge when treating your next pediatric patient.
Completion Requirements
To earn your ENPC verification:
1. Obtain and study the ENPC textbook (6th Edition).
2. Complete pre-course modules on ENA's website before the live session.
3. Complete and participate in both days of the live session of the course
4. Pass the Pediatric Nursing Process (PNP) Skills session with a 70% or greater (during your live session)
5. Pass the online written exam (80% or greater) within 7 days of the course (50 questions, open-book, 2-hour time limit, 2 attempts, random questions)
Important Tips
Register at least 30 days in advance for adequate preparation.
ENA does offer an eBook for the ENPC program; if your textbook's delivery is not guaranteed to arrive before your course, you may want to consider an eBook instead of a print book. Delivery for the eBook can take up to 3-5 business days for email delivery.
Ensure Zoom is fully functional on your device before the course.
Use a stable WiFi connection and the latest version of Zoom.
A desktop or laptop is highly recommended for an optimal experience.
